You won’t be disappointed in the instructor whether you take the opportunity to ride with her or audit. \nTHE INSTRUCTOR\nAllison Gerlt is head trainer at MapleWork Dressage in Ocala. She has her Bronze\, Silver\, and Gold medals. At 21 years old\, she qualified her first Grand Prix horse in the Developing Grand Prix and qualified twice in the Brentina Cup U25 Grand Prix for Festival of Champions at Lamplight. She qualified for NAJYRC as a 15 and 16 year old. Allison has also competed multiple times in the COi’s in Wellington at both Young Riders and Small Tour. \nTraining upper level horses is not the only thing Allison does\, as she is branching out into developing young horses with her own lineup of youngsters. She has experience in sale-horses and finding horses for clients. In addition to Classical Dressage\, Allison has experience with Western Dressage\, and teaching basic equitation. \nRIDING OPPORTUNITY\nThe first 6 fully registered WDAFL members to apply will be accepted. You must be a current WDAFL member. You will have a 45 minute lesson with Ms. Gerlt. You will be riding in a 100X200 sand/fiber\, fenced arena. This is not a covered arena\, so dress accordingly for the weather. Your lesson fee will be subsidized by WDAFL! Your cost for the lesson will be $25. Lunch will be included. Additional fees charged by the venue for haul in\, stall\, or paddock turnout are your responsibility but will be paid with the registration. \nAUDITING\nThe first 25 fully registered auditors will be accepted. Audit fee for WDAFL members is $5\, $15 for nonmembers. Lunch is included. There is shade available alongside the arena. Please bring your own chair. \nAll RIDERS AND AUDITORS\nAll riders and auditors must submit the applicable registration form\, WDAFL Waiver\, Southern Edge Stables Waiver\, Allison Gerlt Waiver (for riders only)\, AND payment no later than February 19th. Any horse not appearing at their ride time without communicating with the dressage office will be assumed a “no show” and will be scratched from the rest of its’ classes.\n4.
