About Joanne Lanzisera
Joanne has been immersed in the horse world since the age of 15, developing a well-rounded equestrian foundation through experience in multiple riding disciplines. She began her journey with Arabians before expanding her horizons to Quarter Horses, broadening both her skills and perspective along the way.
In 2017, Joanne discovered Western Dressage and quickly found a discipline that blended her love of horsemanship with thoughtful training and partnership. Her passion for the sport led her to join the Western Dressage Association of Florida Board in 2018, where she continues to support the organization and its members.
Professionally, Joanne has worn many hats throughout her career, serving as a school and college teacher, firefighter, and medical professional. Now retired, she enjoys dedicating her time to her lifelong passions—horses and gardening—while giving back to the Western Dressage community she loves.
