There is always a little trepidation as a parent going into a new series with a child in the exceptional rider class. There are a lot of unknowns that you worry about upsetting your rider that can chip away at the confidence it takes them so long to build.
We are pleased to say that from the time we registered until the time the show ended the staff could not have been any more helpful and accommodating.
The amount of support for our son, TJ, shown by competitors and everyone involved was overwhelming to see when he completed his first ride of the weekend. TJ rode in 4 patterns that weekend and was cheered on by everyone after every single ride. He left that show with a big boost to his confidence and an even bigger smile on his face. We were treated like members of one big family and would recommend a WDAFL show to anyone looking for a great family to be a part of. We are so grateful for the grant provided by WDAFL that made this showing possible. Thank you for such a memorable experience for our family!
Sincerely,
Matt and Erin Larson
