Carmen Hanson has dedicated her entire life to the horse industry, building a remarkable and diverse equestrian career. From showcasing the majestic Royal Lipizzan Stallions to competing with AQHA horses and excelling in both traditional and Western dressage, Carmen’s journey reflects her deep passion and versatility in the equine world. Although Carmen initially focused on classical dressage, her husband’s foray into Western dressage eventually drew her into the discipline. She has been charmed by the sport and now shows Western dressage on her young Gypsy Vanner, embracing the challenges and joys of this new chapter in her riding journey. Beyond her accomplishments in the arena, Carmen is also a successful businesswoman as the owner of CPonies, a popular venture that blends her love for horses with her entrepreneurial spirit. Her leadership extends to serving on numerous breed boards, including the International Andalusian and Lusitano Horse Association (IALHA) and the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF), where she has been a strong advocate for the industry.
