About Amanda Kopak Hiser
Amanda Kopak-Hiser has been riding since she was 8 years old, after moving to Florida in 1999, she was able to purchase her first horse and continue exploring her love of horses. She has been riding on a mounted drill team since 2011, and began coaching Silk and Sable Mounted Drill Team in 2019. Outside of her everyday office work, she was working for CPonies Beach Horseback rides which is where she unexpectedly met what became her western dressage horse, Suzi’s Big Hot Rod in Heaven, lovingly (most of the time) known as Ahi aka The Big Tuna. In 2020, she began riding western dressage in an effort to figure out what Ahi’s calling might be. His difficult attitude, and less than stellar work ethic drives her to try that much harder at working up the levels in western dressage. Amanda and Ahi have earned six grand and reserve world champion titles, as well as several top 10 awards. Also earning her Bronze medal through the WDAFL in 2022, and working on Ahi’s silver WDAA medal. Amanda strives to prove that anyone can excel at Western Dressage with lots of hard work, dedication, and most importantly setting goals.
