The board of directors recently determined to appoint a “Teen Ambassador” to the WDAFL board. The purpose of this Ambassador is to attend the WDAFL board meetings (usually once a month conference calls on a designated Sunday evening at 7:00 pm lasting about 1 ½ hours,) to contribute to our discussions from a youth member standpoint. The WDAFL board believes that our youth members are the future of our association. Therefore, it is important to get a youth member perspective in relation to our planning. This is an advisory position only and has no voting rights on the board.
If you are a high school age member that is interested in being appointed to this position, please submit a paragraph or two as to why you are interested in being the ambassador and what you feel you can contribute to the board to represent our youth members. Please submit this to info@wdafl.org no later than February 1, 2020. The board will consider all applications at its February meeting and notify the selectee of their appointment.
