This year, I was blessed with the opportunity to attend the WDAFL Annual show. I had just recently begun my journey in Western Dressage, and was fortunate enough to have an amazing support system around me and had so many generous and willing people support and guide me. I am sincerely honored to have been fortunate enough to receive a grant to pursue my journey in western dressage, and allow me to have more opportunity to learn and grow. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to you for providing this generous award, I’m deeply grateful. For this, I am a step closer to following my dreams. Western Dressage has been a great journey for me, as it has taught me true horsemanship and equitation. Forming a partnership with an animal who speaks a different language is truly moving and beautiful. Having a consistent conversation yet never speaking our language is so special to me. I’m so lucky to have a partner as willing and excellent as my horse Gunner, he is such a gift. Receiving this grant allowed me to excel in what I love most and pursue my passions.
