“Since I began riding in a therapeutic program 8 years ago, I have always loved it.  I bonded with my first horse, Carly, and enjoyed learning more challenging things.  However, after a couple of years I had one instructor after another and was stuck repeating lessons I had done before because each new person underestimated me.  I began to dislike riding.  Then, Mark took over the program and told me I had the potential to be a great rider.  I finally felt that my talent was being seen.  He introduced me to Western Dressage and I got to compete in my first shows.  I began to love riding again!  I grew in ways I never imagined, and I found my new passion.  I am so grateful for this scholarship, as it allowed me to participate in this show for the first time.  I love riding with Kansas and can’t wait to continue learning and competing more!”
