About Susan Sackett
Susan first fell in love with horses at 8yo and began riding hunt seat in NJ. From there her family moved to TX where she took up western doing reining, western riding, eng/western/bareback equitation and more. After a 19+ year break in riding, she started competing again, in Traditional Dressage. Susan switched to Western Dressage 2 months ago, teaching her never before Western ridden Lusitano a few new dance steps.
Susan has had numerous Board experiences to include President, Treasurer. Foundation Chair, Volunteer Chair and Fundraising events. She has held positions in Rotary, Habitat for Humanity, Crummer Graduate School of Business and several other non-profits.
I look forward to assisting Western Dressage Association of Florida as it grows, not only here but WD on a national basis as well.
